Piroso hat the same needs as Pinot noir, so Pinot noir sites will be also good for Piroso.

For the first time, this variety combines the advantages of a fungus-resistant variety with that of a teinturier variety. The deep-dark wines are ideal for improving the color of red wines. In the same situation, the must weights are higher than those of the Spätburgunders. In terms of yield, it has an upper limit of about 110 kg / ar.
